A new manuscript submission system was implemented on April 1st, 2010. Authors should submit their manuscripts through the new system. Please refer to the new Instructions for Contributors, and Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts. Please note that manuscripts submitted before April 1st will be reivewed through the existing system.

Symposium: Lectures by Winners of Outstanding Paper Award 2008 and on Academic Writing for Chemical Engineers
The JCEJ Editorial Committee will hold a symposium at the SCEJ 41st Autumn Meeting on September 16, 2009. The symposium has seven award lectures by winners of Outstanding Paper Award 2008 and one guest lecturer for academic writing. Revised Publication Fee
JCEJ will revise publication fees starting from the issue of Vol. 42, No. 1, which will be published on January 20, 2009. The publication fees for members and subscriber members will be reduced to the rates indicated below. The lower rates will only be applicable to works of members and subscriber members.

Notice to Authors: Special Issue for "ISCRE20"
JCEJ is accepting submissions between June 1^st and July 1^st, 2008. Submissions for this special issue should use the template and made via the JCEJ submission system by selecting the journal issue type: "Special Issue for ISCRE20." The maximum page length of submissions is strictly limited to 6 pages.

JCEJ has introduced authentication to access full-text articles. Please note there is no extra charge for the electronic access to the journal if you or your institute is a subscriber of the print journal. You are able to access articles in the same manner as you did, either through seamless IP-based authentication for institutional subscribers or ID-number and password entry for individual subscribers. If you have any questions about access to JCEJ, please contact the editorial office.
