How to apply for a membership:
Admission procedures are conducted via SCEJ Website .

After sending your membership application and confirming its approval, we will send you your membership number.
International Membership Grade
Full member: A person who supports the purposes and objectives of the SCEJ and has an academic background and experience in chemical engineering, chemical industry and chemical machine in Japan.
Student member: A student who supports the purposes and objectives of the SCEJ and is enrolled at a university or a school equivalent to a university in Japan.
International member: A person without Japanese nationality and/or a Japanese living abroad who has a qualification equivalent to that of Full member.
International student member: A student without Japanese nationality or living abroad (including a student with Japanese nationality) who has a qualification equivalent to that of Student member.
International concord member: A person who has a qualification equivalent to that of International member and is a member of the CIESC, KIChE or TwIChE.
International Membership fee
International full member, International student member and International concord member are required to pay a 12-months membership fee calculated from the next month after joining the society. Annual member ship fees are as below(Japanese yen per annum):
